For a distinctly traditional take on luxury lighting design, Brand Van Egmond are among the best known pioneers. With a characteristic sense of the classic present in everything they create, the brand fuse that aesthetic with a contemporary and cutting edge know how, driving ever forwards while creating lighting sculptures that prove themselves as enthrallingly traditional time and time again.
It’s this mix of classic aesthetics and contemporary craftsmanship that make Brand Van Egmond stand out from the crowd. Never ones to shy away from the new, even when creating in the image of the traditional, the lighting sculptures this brand create are in a class of their own.
One way Brand Van Egmond continue to power towards the future is through new partnerships. The latest of these ventures to be announced sees Brand Van Egmond pair their creativity and excellence with the ingenuity of Snippe Projecten.
The leading real estate fair in The Netherlands, Provada, is a hotbed for the latest in building, construction, and creation. The latest edition of the event took place recently, and all eyes were directed towards Snippe Projecten, who proved themselves as one of Provada’s most important participants.
Taking part in this year’s Provada, Snippe Projecten were presenting a magnificent new project: the company are hard at work on the development of an entirely new neighbourhood in Amsterdam called Hyde Park.
The stand where Snippe Projecten announced this was illuminated by chandeliers of Brand Van Egmond’s design – a nod towards a futher announcement that the brands are joining together for several collaborative projects that are said to be “in the making.”
Hyde Park is a new urban district situated in the metropolitan area of Amsterdam. The urban plan Hyde Park Hoofddorp was first introduced last May, again at Provada, at a stand presented by Snippe Projecten, illuminated by lighting sculptures from Brand Van Egmond.
At this stand, André Snippe (Snippe Projecten) and Wouter Van Den Eijnden (IC Netherlands) signed a letter of intent for the project. Since then, excitement surrounding what it will lead to has only seemed to build – much like the project itself.
This year Brand Van Egmond once again illuminated the Snippe Projecten stand as a part of the two companys’ ongoing and flourishing collaboration together. It’s not just Hyde Park that sees the two industry names join forces.
Brand Van Egmond have also stated they will play a role in the Experience Centre that will soon be realised, along with a number of other various joint projects that will follow in the near future.
