The annual ICFF, or International Contemporary Furniture Fair, takes place in New York this weekend (14-17 May). It is now in its 28th year. The event celebrates some of the boldest and brightest in furniture design and production. It exhibits designs from all across the globe through its four day duration. This year’s event is held at New York City’s Javits Center. More than 750 exhibitors travel worldwide to display contemporary flooring, wall coverings, accessories, materials, and, of course, luxury lighting.
This weekend, more than 150 exhibitors will be showcasing their designs in lighting alone. The event exhibits the highest standards in both commercial and residential designs. It’s exemplary for both interiors and exteriors. The event is one of the most esteemed of its type. It’s a one of a kind opportunity to see a broad yet highly focused selection. Exhibitors travel to the event from as far afield as Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, China, Colombia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Egypt, El Salvador, France, Germany, Guatemala, Italy, Japan, Lebanon, Lithuania, Mexico, Netherlands, Norway, Philippines, Portugal, Scotland, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, the U.S., the United Kingdom and Venezuela. The event is attended by over 33,000 interior designers, architects, retailers, distributors, facility managers, developers, manufacturers, store designers, visual merchandisers, and representatives.
