Flos are proud to unveil their new Infra-Structure and Casting collections.
Made in collaboration with world-renowned Belgian architect Vincent Van Duysen, stand as unique constructions. Created for the Flos Architectural and Outdoor Collections, the lights shine at the forefront of their fields. The ranges were unveiled at the Flos Professional Space as part of Milan Design Week last month.
The Infra-Structure collection is an innovative take on typical Bauhaus design language. A bare, tubular structure acts grounds the designs’ industrial aesthetic. The collection’s architectural composition is boldly complimented by a range of directional LED luminaries and pendants. This creates a striking ambient lighting suited to numerous applications and settings.
The Casting collection brings a sense of sophistication to LED bollard lights for outdoor installation. Their solid structure is constructed with a low copper aluminium alloy, which enhances resistance to corrosion. It features an elegant double emission of light on both T and C shaped models.
Launched at Milan Design Week, the unveiling was a celebration of iconic fashion. Three categories of products (commercial, outdoor, and residential) were placed on show to the public from within their intended environment in an abstract way. By using only the most basic of colours, the products vouch for themselves.
A special set of information cards on the products were available for the event. These featured illustrations by Nigel Peake. This is in line with Flos’ characteristic strategy of cutting edge communication and promotion tools,
