One of their most mesmerising installations is devoted to one of their most popular creations: the Birdie lamp. Inspired by the world of nature, this design's characteristic shape is reminiscent of a young sapling with a thin branch, ready and waiting for a small bird to roost. It is this image that gives the product its name.

Available in multiple different colours, finishes, and versions to suit a vast range of settings and uses, the Birdie lamp is an extremely versatile model. The lamp has become the star of one of Foscarini Lighting's most dazzling installations: The Birdie Garden.

This installation was designed by Roberto Palomba and Ludovica Serafini for Foscarini Spazio Brera, and comprises of several different scenarios that bring to mind the light and the romantic atmosphere of an Italian garden.

In the first scenario the floor lamp creates a false shadow on the ground, the outline of which is drawn and stretched in order to indicate the direction towards the second space. In the second scenario the Birdie light is suspended in a space entirely clad with mirrors, projected to infinity in a game of warm lights and repetitions.
