Always striving to up their game to achieve the new and the exciting, LEDS-C4 are a brand ahead of the curve - demonstrably so. The company recently undertook one of their most exciting projects to date, participating in the refurbishment of the biggest Novotel in the world.
LEDS C-4 provided Novotel Madrid Center with products from its decorative, technical and exterior range. It also created special designs so that each space would have the appropriate product, taking into account power and performance as well as the aesthetics and finish of the product.
The refurbishment project took place throughout the interior of the building – lobby, bar and restaurant, function rooms, hallways, lifts and bedrooms -, as well as in the new and impressive entrance; with a nature-inspired theme given the proximity of the hotel to Madrid’s greenbelt.
LED lighting dominates all the hotel’s facilities in order to guarantee energy saving and a more efficient, quality lighting, as well as helping to provide creative and sensory atmospheres in open spaces.
According to Paolo Mauri, the project designer: “We needed to be able to create something that had an impacting image, from a visual and aesthetic point of view”.
Novotel Madrid Center, the recently opened four-star hotel, is situated in one of the most central and well-known areas of Madrid. It has 790 bedrooms and almost 7,000m2 of communal areas, of which more than 2,500m2 are dedicated to conference and meeting rooms.
The International Hospitality Projects (IHP) studio was responsible for carrying out this extraordinary interior design project. The changes to the distribution of space and the use of the latest materials have transformed the old Hotel Convención into an example of contemporary design.
