With the end of the year, industries worldwide reflect upon the previous twelve months while powering forwards to the future. In this respect, the luxury lighting industry is no different. Looking back on what 2017 has had to offer across the board, the product finalists for the Best Of Year awards have been announced.
The Best of Year Awards, perhaps better known as the BoY Awards, is organised by the American magazine Interior Design. The awards is designed to celebrate the best and the brightest of new products and advancements across the sector of interior design.
Honouring the most significant work of the year and recognising designers, architects, and manufacturers from around the globe, the BoY Awards is the design industry's premiere design awards programme.
For 2017, one of the biggest successes across the luxury lighting market has been Spanish design. Nine different designs have been nominated across the category of lighting, with a further eight more nominated across the board.
One of these designs to be nominated comes from LEDS-C4. This is a brand that operates in 140 countries around the world, serving more than 13000 customers on an international basis. The company operates in all lighting segments, both indoors and outdoors, residential and commercial alike.
Their mission is simple: to take light, an element resplendent in its own power, and use t=it to generate feelings and emotions. “There is no architecture without light,” they state on their company website. And sure enough, they’re right.
The winners in each category will be announced on December 1 at a ceremony that will take place in the IAC building in New York.
